Bio
As a licensed therapist, I help overwhelmed young professionals break free from stress and anxiety, so they can live more meaningful lives. I launched Modern Era Counseling in 2018 out of a desire to help individuals in their late teens, 20s and 30s navigate the lonely terrain of young adulthood. After years of working in other clinical settings, I knew I wanted to take a different approach to helping people. I wanted to build a private practice on the belief that when someone really hears you without judgment or trying to mold you, it feels damn good. As a licensed therapist, I take a down-to-earth approach to helping teens and young adults process difficult life experiences and emotions. My goal is to help my clients feel more calm, confident and in control, so they can get the most out of life.
Why I Love What I Do
I was drawn to the work of therapy by an innate desire to help others find their purpose and live their best lives. I love the work I do because each day I get to help people make meaning of their past experiences, explore new possibilities for their lives, and live into their full potential.
