Creative Art Therapy
Focus on the creative process instead of the outcome, as in traditional artistic expression.
The use of creative expression work often helps one tap into a deeper place of knowing and permits one to express feelings and emotions that might otherwise be difficult to articulate. Therapy can include the use of imagery, storytelling, dance, music, drama, poetry, movement, horticulture, dream work, and visual arts.
